La obra de Alejandro Jiménez sugiere el potencial de construir metáforas visuales y materiales que aluden a cuestionamientos sobre la construcción de la identidad individual y colectiva, las políticas del espacio, el uso de la circunstancia, y el estado del ocio. Partiendo desde lo empírico y lo relacional y concretando un proceso de deducción, donde las ideas y formas de accionar van de observar lo particular dentro del panorama general, Jiménez busca crear conexiones y matices entre dicotomías, contrastes y contradicciones dentro de la cotidianidad, manifestándose así en escultura, pintura, instalación, fotografía y dibujo, donde siempre está abierta la invitación al público a activar, a situarse en el medio, y sobre todo, a unir.

Alejandro Jiménez's work suggests the potential to construct visual and material metaphors that allude to questions about the construction of individual and collective identity, the politics of space, the use of circumstance, and the state of leisure. Starting from the empirical and relational and specifying a process of deduction, where the ideas and ways of acting go from observing the particular within the general panorama, Jiménez seeks to create connections and nuances between dichotomies, contrasts and contradictions within everyday life, thus manifesting in sculpture, painting, installation, photography and drawing, where the invitation to the public to activate, to be in the middle, and above all, to unite is always open.
